Lesson 1 @ Julia Gabriel

My first lesson @ Julia Gabriel. Has been waiting very long for this term to start. We were at the long waiting list and now finally able to attend the FIRST official "school".

Mummy enrolled darling in JG Bilingual Playclub on every Saturday 11:30am.

Knock knock may I come in? Taking my first step into my classroom.

Lots of toys awaiting for us. While we were waiting for all parents to arrive, we get to play with huge lego blocks, animals, helmets, and many more...

Darling went and grabbed the biggest and heaviest Rhino.

Small aligator...

Done with animals, moving on to shapes...

All sort of fun hats...darling wanna get the fireman hat, but was snatched away by another kid...hmmmm...anyway i am happy with these...

Guess who am I now? Adorable policewoman?

JG class starts at 11:30am, should be my milk time and orh orh time...shall have a snack first before the class starts....

Guess what? Mummy was impressed with darling. When teacher Rino called my name, I went up to get my name tag from him. Mummy thought darling will be shy and wouldnt dare to go forward. But mummy was wrong. When my name was called, I went forward without being told. Heeee....seee....

Lesson started and it was entertaining. We first have some sing-along sessions...followed by phonics. Today it was the letter D. D for dragon. And because I am attending bilingual class, we were taught what is Dragon in chinese. It's called Long!
Then we were taught how to make a dragon crown and also a dragon banner.

My DIY Dragon Crown.

Dragon banner

My chinese name. This is my first time using my chinese name.

Okie, after arts & crafts, we had snacks. Teacher Hong is serving darling some apple juice. Yummmm...

We had corn flakes, sausages and papaya. Darling doesnt like sausages and papaya. I gave to mummy.

Mummy, you want some?

Wow, mouthful of flakes in darling's mouth...so not ladylike. LOL....

Okie, after some reminders from mummy, I will be demure. Is this okie, mummy?

Putting my crown on the drying rack. Waiting for the glue to dry up.

After snack was story telling time. It's a chinese story about a dog who lost his ball, and the flying dragon came to help him. After that, it was outdoor fun. Darling loves this police car. Wouldnt let mummy open the door. No way is she going to get me out of this car.
My oh my, darling is driving a police car.

Gonna chase after that thief.
Err, hey my car stalled....
Come and help me, mummy!

Okie, I was having so much fun in that police car for a whole 5 mins, mummy got to drag darling out of the car to play with other stuff at the yard.
Hey, motorbike is even more fun than the police car. I was having so much fun because.....
my poor mummy was so worried that darling will topple from the bike. Lol.....seeing her going "wow, ohhhh, wooooooo careful darling!", darling couldnt helped but LAUGH!

Heeee, was fun mummy!

Okie we moved on to the slides.

Hey wat is this?

Wat can I see through this? My mummy is over there!

@ Julia Gabriel

Darling gonna make pineapple tarts. Daddy's favourite! Shall we just dump the whole pineapple in?

Back to class for another round of fun and action. Look at how engrossed are the kids!

Overall, I find that the first lesson was structured, organized and entertaining. Of course, mummy is not able to capture all the moments we had in the class. We were too busy doing the actions and listening to the exciting story. And being in the bilingual class does help. At least mummy get to learn how to sing "Incy Wincy Spider" in chinese!!!!!!
I think darling is very occupied during the whole 2 hours. Although the first 15-20 mins was abit chaotic because the teachers were busy checking our hands and foot for HFMD, getting to know our names, doing registration, etc....overall, mummy and I like the school.
